To the top!

We went on a hike heading towards the top of Cowles Mountain. We didn't make it to the top today though. We were ready for anything and that came in the form of Noah not wanting to be in the Ergo carrier today. He was very unhappy after only a few minutes of walking. Ben and Hannah were very excited about going to the top of a mountain though. Ben especially wanted to continue going after our quick break. Noah would have nothing to do with the carrier. Corey took him back down the mountain, along with Hannah, while Ben and I continued up the mountain for a bit. We kept turning around to try and find our car on the street. Ben was such a good hiker today.

After a bit more of uphill we turned around and headed back down. We met up with them close to the bottom. It was lunch-time and the kids were getting tired and hungry, so we left! We'll be back another day, to get to the top.
