I decided to do something about some of the tomatoes that are growing in my garden. Last year we had a lot of tomatoes too and I made spaghetti sauce but I used quart jars and they proved to be a little to big because we didn't use all the sauce from one jar. So this year I decided to use pint jars. There are so many tomatoes that we can't keep up with eating straight off the vine. So, I took 12 pounds of them to make tomato sauce and there are plenty more in the fridge and on the vine!
Next time I'll make some salsa and hopefully I'll have enough to do some chunkier spaghetti sauce, this one is smooth and smells like tomato soup, yum!
