Dinner tonight...
Last October Ben, Hannah and I planted a bunch of seeds in the garden box. I had little hope for them to grow because it was getting cold. It was the experience that we were after. Well lo and behold, 5 months later, we grew some giant sunflowers and some carrots! We had planted more (radishes, tomatoes and some flowers…) but they didn’t grow into much. It’s been too cold. Tonight we decided to eat the carrots. Ben and Hannah ran to pull the carrots out of the ground. It was great. Each one was a different size and mostly the same shape. They were delicious and everyone ate their veggies tonight. That makes this Mama happy ☺.
